Manna kids body and brain fuel is a supplementary food nutrition source that provides children with the correct parentage protein, vitamins, and minerals to ensure the normal development of their bodies and brains. This is the support they need to excel mentally and educationally to give them a chance at making a success in life.

This amazing product was created by a biotechnologist Nicolaas Groenewald at Nandrea Health Products in Oudtshoorn South Africa during the pandemic because he saw the devastation in the low-income communities during that time. He understood that the world needed a solution that not only caters to empty tummies but caters to the daily nutritional requirements of children who are still developing their bodies and brains.

There currently is no other product on the market that can compete with the quality of nutrients at the price it is produced. Manna Kids provide exactly the right balance of protein, vitamins, and minerals to ensure the health and growth of children’s bodies and brains. We want to provide the most balanced nutritional food source at an affordable price to ensure that those who need it most can gain access to this life-changing nutrition. The focus is to develop this product not only for the South African communities but to create a product that can change the lives of children in need across the globe. We want to build a sustainable model with longevity and continue to develop the nutrition provided to the communities so that it grows with the demands of everyday life.

We need to keep the cost as low as possible while providing the highest quality to ensure the development of the children who need it. The only way to keep the cost as low as possible is to limit any transport costs and cut out any third-party service providers. Historically to have the food packaged it had to travel 740 km (462 miles) round trip from where it was manufactured. This adds significant transport costs but also influences the food's quality and its shelf-life duration. Using a third-party packaging service provider incurred extra costs but also a waiting period.

With your help, we can implement ‘Phase 1’ of the project where we set up a dedicated packaging line at a facility next door to where Manna Kids is produced. This cuts out the middleman, limits transport costs, and ensures we package the highest quality food with the greatest shelf life at the lowest cost possible.

We need your support to make this happen. Even though we can produce 5 nutritional meals for 1 US dollar some children cannot even afford the 20 cents (USD) to purchase one meal. They need all the support they can get. Our focus is to feed as many children continuously as possible because consistency is the key to ensuring their normal development. This means we need monthly support to ensure that the children in need get the food that fills their tummies, gives them energy, and provides them with the nutrients they need to function and grow.

We need to raise R850 000 ($50 000) to secure the first 250 000 meals. We need to place this initial large order to secure the development of the dedicated packaging line for the Manna Kids. Thereafter we can place small orders regularly and so ensure that the children whom we provide for get their nutritional support.
